Why Learn From Rob?

Rob Clark’s journey into racing began at 19, starting with humble beginnings and modest results in grassroots competitions. Fueled by a relentless passion and obsession with motorsports, he was determined to improve. Put aside everything you know or think you know and really listen to what Rob says, it ALL matters. I've only just made it a few chapters in and already there were some very specific but very key points of information that I think some may gloss over without realizing it.     If you're looking to improve your racing in all aspects, Purple Sectors is the best way to learn from a top-level driver and coach with over a decade of experience. Rather than spending thousands of dollars on 1-on-1 coaching, you'll get access to all of that knowledge for a tiny fraction of the price. Work at your own pace, and Purple Sectors will be your reference as you go.

  • Why is "XYZ" sim racing course cheaper?

    While other courses are limited in the driver skills they teach, Purple Sectors is designed to give you all the tools you need to improve as a driver - not just how to go fast, not just racecraft, not just telemetry analysis, not just race strategy... all of those, and more!

    Purple Sectors is not a "finished course" but a library that will continue growing as you do. There won't be any future courses - this is your "all access pass" to the lessons I create.

  • Do I need high-end gear to get the most from Purple Sectors?

    Absolutely not! The only equipment needed to fully benefit from Purple Sectors are a wheel and pedals. I've always said that the best investment is in yourself, not your equipment. Many of the world's fastest sim racers achieved those rankings on entry-level equipment. While shiny equipment can be fun and improve immersion, it's not necessary to build the best driving techniques.

  • What skill level should I be at before signing up?

    There aren't any prerequisite skills or minimum iRating you need. Purple Sectors teaches the techniques used by the very best drivers, and there are lessons to guide you along every step of your natural progression.

  • Do these techniques apply to real-life driving?

    As a real-life racing driver first, I came to sim racing in hopes of improving my skills to achieve better results in my races. The seat time you can get in sim racing is unmatched for the cost. After just one winter of focused practice in the sim, I went on to win my first SCCA National Tour the very next year. I promise that the skills you learn in this course will apply to your driving, too. The sim is the best place to learn and dial in your techniques. Then add in the extra forces in your car, and you'll notice how everything connects!
